Do you love your cowork space and being around your unique group talented coworkers,? Do you wish you could find some fun ways to get to know them better outside of work? Here are 10 awesome ideas that include events that you can to hold in your cowork space or outside of work with your coworkers.

1Food Truck Lunch Tours

Pick a day of the week and visit a new food truck each week with your coworkers. This is a great opportunity to get outdoors, get some exercise, and get to know your coworkers a little better while exploring new foods.

2-Game Night

Host a game night once a month or quarterly where everyone can play a game together or small groups can play their favorite board games. You can include family members of all ages to make it more inclusive and more interesting.

3-Global Sustainability Jam

If your coworkers are open to it, sign up for this annual event held around the world in November. Teams work together for 48 hours to create new real-world ideas that can be developed into something concrete that can make a difference. The idea must be based on a theme that’s announced right before the event kicks off.

4-Happy Hour

Host a weekly or monthly happy hour after hours so coworkers can get to know each other better.

5-PechaKucha Night

The PechaKucha phenomenon began in Japan in the early 2000s and has now expanded to more than 1,000 cities. It’s an informal get-together where participants take turns sharing 20 images with only 20 seconds to explain each slide as it advances automatically.  This is an interesting way to share ideas in a casual setting.

6-Morning Breakfasts

Pick a morning each week or month where coworkers can get together at a nearby café or restaurant before work for breakfast.

7-Run/Walk

Get a bunch of coworkers together to participate in a 5K run/walk for charity in your area. You’ll have some fun, get a good workout, and also support a good cause.

8-Speakers

Invite successful entrepreneurs, authors, or other notable personalities in your city to speak during or after hours. If enough coworkers are interested in what they have to share, you might also consider bringing in financial advisors, tax experts, and insurance or healthcare professionals who could offer advice for the self-employed and non-traditional workers.

9-Visitor Day

Hold a monthly visitor day in which coworkers can bring friends or acquaintances who want to see and try out your cowork space.

10-Blood Drive

Hold a blood drive and invite family, friends and those in the community at large to participate.
